Raptors are freaking sweet!

I'm gonna grow out my big toenails super long and buy a big rubber tail.  Then, I can go to Burger King and jump on someone's table and be all like "RAAAWWRRR!!"

Dreams can come true.

I have a new project:

Ton-Up/ Rockers Revival

Well, for the month of May we here at C4 assume that just because we are busy, the readers are too. So, we didn't post anything.

However, I'm here to post something that is good. Motorcycle show coverage.

The Ton-up is a cafe bike show that has been going on for the past six years at the melody inn in Indianapolis. Though it is a show centered around cafe themed bikes, everything else is welcome. There weren't many choppers, but there were a lot of good looking bikes.

I'm not the most creative photographer, but I did want to get a good cross section of bikes.

This puch was my favorite thing there

Still, just so awesome

I thought the guy riding this triumph seemed pretty cool

I liked the colour of the stripe and the proportion of this bike

Also, this tail light is so cool!

I love peanuts

The coolest harley there. Hands down, XR1000s are my favorite

A bike known as Magik Vomik, that was recently featured in Street Chopper Magazine, my friend nate painted
I think I just thought this was cool
My buddies Bert and Nick showed up. This is Berts Honda with a Amen  frame

If I were to build a honda...

There were probably 100 or so bikes, which is a good turn out for indy. The inner primary separated on my shovel on the way home, so I had to use my foot to hold it up. If you get the chance, go to it next year!

Hey! It's Nate!

Despite my disdain for auto play music on any web page from the time Al Gore invented the internet up until this very second, Nate has a really great blog. Worth looking at for sure and no, i'm not just posting this because he posted a picture I took. (Ed Lepolds LaSalle pictured below.)

The guy has an eye for style that most people are not blessed with. I mean, just check out the bad show bike Triumph at the top of the page, or his Pan which he calls "The Ice Queen". This guy has something going on in his brain that gives him the ability to put something together that can't be matched at your run of the mill "Biker Rally". Keep at it Nate. C4 loves it.

C4 Spotlight:Thommy

Hello reader(s?),

Once a week I'm going to shine a spotlight on one of our members. I think we have 6 member at the moment, some are C4 members, some are FBLC members, and some are both. We are a great group of fellows if I do say so myself and I think these guys deserve some recognition.

This week we are showing off Thommy, his projects, and his luscious man-parts (his beard).
I (Nick) met Thommy in 2005. We met up with each other at the Hunnert Car Pileup and have been great friends ever since.

Thommy is one of 2 Mopar weirdos in our little group. In fact he is so into mopars that he would probably drive an '82 Lebaron with a duct tape and tarp convertible top over any brand new vehicle thats not made by Chrysler. He runs around with a hot little piece of arm candy that he calls his wife. Coincidentally she is just as awesome as him. Together they own one of the most bad ass houses in the rust belt. If The Rodder's Journal and Atomic Ranch had sex, their home would be the centerfold.

Thommy also has a great appreciation for music, animals, hockey, and firearms. He has probably the greatest collection of 'stuff' out of anyone I've ever seen, but besides that he a really good dude. He seems to know at least a little bit about everything and if he doesn't, he's probably trying to learn. Im grateful to call him my friend. Now that all the sappy stuff is over, here are some pictures of some of that cool stuff I was talking about.

To Tony, From Billy

Billy was my midget neighbor.  For a long time he thought my name was Tony, and I never bothered to correct him.

The chain kept popping off of his minibike, which he rode to work, and he asked me to just weld his engine in place to keep it from moving.  Here's a letter he left me about it.

I almost miss living in that alley, it was like a constant circus.  When I'm more in the mood, I'll tell those stories in more detail.

Basement choppers

Are the best. Until they make it to the breezeway...or mud room for you fancies.

Holy S#*t!! It runs!

After a year and a half of sitting, and only two minor explosions, the Sparklemobile is running again.  If you ever flood your engine and decide to remove the distributor, make sure you turn off the ignition or that bastard will ignite the crankcase fumes and startle the living hell out of you.  The baffle in the oil fill tube, which is in there pretty tight, shot out and landed a few feet away.  That was pretty cool.

Too bad I didn't learn my lesson and shocked the piss out of myself an hour or two later while pulling the distributor again.

Coils are stupid.  I'm replacing everything with flint from a Bic lighter.  Never shocked myself on a Bic.  Yet.

Cross your fingers, I hope to take my sweet rat rod out for a drive tomorrow.  I think I'm going to start it up again tonight and see if I can make my neighbors hate me.  I'm ready to move anyway.

Happy St. Patricks Day

from Lil Mike!

This is by far the coolest minority that I have ever met. He's always down for a good time and he always has a funny story to tell.

Flashback Friday:HCPU 2007

It is officially Saturday here in the midwest. I was suppose to post this on Friday but I forgot to 'publish' it. So here it is, a couple hours late....Flashback Friday.

Once upon a time in '07 some of my fellow bloggers and myself went on a magical journey to Morris, IL for the Hunnert Car Pileup. We learned that James Dean was gay.

This was before we knew Sunshine but we were able to grab a pic of his old mans car.

Lick the ground bitch! We still don't know why he did this.

Holy shit

c4 Scene is over a year old, and over the past few months the blog has finally started rolling.

Expect big things this year from the club and from the blog.

Balululu, thanks for reading.

Garage fun with my friends.

 Susie,

Bill,

...and the most famous mythical magician in the world.

Bill loves Terre Haute.

So, there it is.  Got the intake and carbs and misc. bracketry all attached.  Painted some crap. Watched Bill Moyer.  Just need plugs and oil and various whatnots and I'll be driving it again.  Next paycheck I'll get a repro vinyl top and get crusing.
